It is with a heavy heart that I let you know that Maples won't be coming back after the severe flood damage caused by Helene. Maples has been a magical place in a magical community and blessed beyond measure. I have so much love and gratitude for everyone who has supported Maples during the nearly ten years since we began this journey. I would like to thank everyone by name, but that would take a full book. I also want to thank my incredible friends, plus the people from churches and organizations from all over the country, who have helped in cleaning up muck and debris from the extensive damage. Individuals who were just driving by also stopped to help. It's been quite a job, but we were able to salvage some precious memories from the rubble. We will leave the Maples Facebook page up for a while. Please feel free to share your thoughts and memories on there. We have such an incredible community, I am grateful beyond words to be part of it. Now for the future: I have been asked to work with an incredible team at the Carriage House in Burnsville. You won’t have to miss your scones and cinnamon rolls for very long! Oceans and mountains of love, Susan
